The Bay Area Black Journalist Association has been approved to receive a $2,500 Community Spirit grant award from Wells Fargo’s Black/African American Team Member Connection Bay Area chapter! We will receive this award during the annual Juneteenth Awards celebration - Embracing Diversity through Commitment, Education and Action - on Monday, June 20th, 2011, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Penthouse at 420 Montgomery St in San Francisco. During this event, Wells Fargo will spotlight the achievements of African Americans throughout history and also recognize several award recipients, who represent excellence in corporate and community service. A networking reception with Hors d’oeuvres will begin at 5:30 p.m.
